What students learn

Facilitation skills that survive contact with real groups.

The course is built around practice, feedback, and decision-making. Participants learn how to guide experience without over-controlling it, and how to help people make meaning from what happens in the room, on the course, or in the field.

Design purposeful openings, transitions, activities, reflection, and closing moments
Read group energy and adjust facilitation choices without losing the program goal
Ask stronger debrief questions that help participants connect experience to behavior
Manage participation, resistance, dominant voices, quiet voices, and group tension
Sequence experiential activities so challenge, support, and learning stay connected
Hold physical, emotional, and social safety during active group learning
Give clear instructions, frame activities well, and recover when plans need to change
Use observation, feedback, and practice to keep improving as a facilitator
